Dr. James Greeson

James Greeson, guitarist, resident professor and coordinator of Jazz Studies at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. James is an active performer who has played with Ed Soph, Joe Davis, Rich Matteson, and Grady Tate. He was a featured performer at the 1993 Arkansas Jazz and Heritage Foundation's annual meeting, Director of the 1993-94 Arkansas Jazz and Heritage Big Band, and leader of his own group based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He writes jazz compositions for small groups and big bands.
