- Saturday November 13 - Fayetteville - Walton Arts Center Presents San Jose Taiko - Japanese Drums And Dance. San Jose Taiko is an Asian-American hybrid, a
musical crossbreed of traditional Japanese Taiko drumming and African,
Balinese, Latin and jazz percussion invigorated with elements of stylized
dance. Tickets from $10 - $14 available from Walton Arts Center box

- Monday November 15, 7:30pm - Fayetteville - UA Jazz Ensemble Concert
The University of Arkansas Jazz Ensemble under the direction of
James Greeson will perform its fall concert featuring a 24 piece big band.
The concert will take place at 7:30 pm in the University of
Arkansas' Arkansas Union Theater on Monday, November 15. There is no
admission charge and the concert is open to the public.

- Monday November 29, 8:00pm - Little Rock - UALR Guitar Ensemble Fall Concert, Michael Carenbauer, director. The fall 1999 program includes ╩works by the Beach Boys, Sting and Pat Metheny. ╩A blues medley is programmed as the finale. ╩The concert is free of charge and open to the public. ╩For more information please contact the Department of Music at UALR at 569-3294.
