  • Jan 13 - pianist Chris James. International touring aritist putting his down roots in Little Rock with Joe Vick on bass and Dave Rogers on drums. 8 PM, $5 cover

  • Jan 20 - NYC based The New Power Trio. The Nashville Scene describes thems as: "catchy songs with delightful solos ... Fans seeking unusual, fresh approaches to jazz and Latin music shouldn't miss [the NPT]..." featuring pianist Nate Shaw (formerly of the Motion Poets), described as "...thoughtful as he is potent ..."   • Feb 10 - Memphis based pianist Micheal Jefry Stevens. with Joe Vick on bass and Dave Rogers at the drums. International recording artist setting roots in Memphis, TN - http://www.ejn.it/mus/stevens.htm 8 PM, $5 cover

  • Feb 17 - Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame Concert and Awards. 8 PM, Tickets available from the Afterthought 663-1196 or Capitol Keyboard 228-9999.

  • Feb 24 - Monday Jazz Project Jam Session with House Trio featuring Dan Sieckman on guitar, Joe Vick on bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums. Jam players signup starting at 7:45 p.m. in After thought Foyer, 8 PM, $3 cover, $1 Jammers.
March 2003
  • Mar 3 - Monday Jazz Quartet Quartet .featuring Rodney Block on trumpet, with Buck Powell on piano, Joe Vick on bass, and Dave Rogers on drums. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • Mar 10 - Blue Note Chaser. Featuring Brandon Dorris - saxophones and Anthony Williams - trombone with Zack Walls - trumpet, Jason Burnett - guitar, Logan Smith - bass, and Brandon Alanis - percussion. Blue Note Chaser is made up of members of Jazz Ensemble One from UCA. BNC is a wide ranged ensemble that plays swing, bebop, afro-cuban, and avante-garde jazz. The members have played with Ray Charles, Tom Brantley, Tony Baker, Chris Vadala, Joe Alessi, and Richard Stoltzman. 8 PM, $5 cover

  • Mar 17 - Dave Rogers Trio. with Dave Rogers on drums, Joe Vick on bass, and Dan Sieckman on guitar. 8 PM, $5 cover.

  • Mar 24 - Monday Jazz Project Jam Session with House Trio featuring Chuck Dodson on piano, Joe Vick on bass and Dave Rogers at the drums. Jam players signup starting at 7:45 p.m. in After thought Foyer, 8 PM, $3 cover, $1 Jammers.
