North Arkansas Jazz Society Meeting
The North Arkansas Jazz Society will meet this Thursday, June 24 at 7pm in the Walton Arts Center busines office on 229 N School Street in Fayetteville. Business matters include nominations for NAJS officers, recruitment for concert series volunteers, and a jazz video featuring George Shearing in concert.
Everyone is welcome and your attendance is appreciated!
Don't forget, this Friday, June 25 at 8:00 pm at the Fine Arts Concert Hall on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, the second in our summer concert series, The Jazz Composers Showcase, featuring all original tunes by our regional jazz artists. Featured will be solos, dous, trios, and larger ensembles including Jim Greeson, Claudia Burson, Allan Gibson, Keefe Jackson, Claire Starr, John Behling, and Gerald Sloan.
Tickets are available at Uncle Sam's in Evelyn Hills Shopping Center, or by phone (call 521-7779) or at the door ($6 for NAJS members, $8 for non-members).
