On February 16th saxophonist Herman Green returns from Memphis, $5 cover. Herman Green lead the house band at the Black Hawk Jazz Club in San Francisco where he played with John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Cannonball Adderly, Milt Jackson, Clark Terry, and many more. He was a member of Lionel Hampton's band and head of Jazz Studies at LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis teaching the likes of James Williams, Donald Brown, Mulgrew Miller, drummer Tony Reedus, and trumpter Bill Mobley.

February 23 features the Monday Jazz Jam and Showcase with a house band featuring Buck Powell on piano, Joe Vick on bass, and Dave Rogers at the drums. This is an open jazz jam and musicians should sign up in the foyer after 7:30 p.m., cover $3.
