Harry Snider passed away on March 17, 2013. A well respected musician, he was a skillful jazz pianist as well as an accordian player. While in the military, he was arranger for the United States Marine Corp Band in San Diego, in which he also served as a soloist.
After retirement from First National Bank in Little Rock, he devoted time to playing jazz piano professionally in the local area. Reflecting on his masterful ability to improvise, former agent and lifelong friend Jim Porter, Jr said, "He could play all around a song without losing the melody."
Services for Snider were at Holy Souls Church on March 21, 2013
