ROBERT DOFFLOW RIFГ, 96, Little Rock, went home to be with Jesus, Jan. 16, 2004. Mr. RifО was originally from St. Louis and moved to Little Rock in 1957. He was a retiree of the Teletype Corporation. He was well-known in the locale for his music business, as well as for his "Professor Messaroundski" vaudevilletype entertainment act. He was a member of the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association, American String Teachers Association and the Bendemeer Grotto. Mr. RifО's persona far exceeded his stature.
Mr. RifО is survived by his former wife; one son; two daughters; three grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren, all of whom reside out of state with the exception of his youngest daughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2200 Ft. Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Ark., 72114, the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Col. Glenn Rd., Little Rock, Ark., 72210 or your favorite charity in his honor.
A private memorial service for family members and close friends will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Roller Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock (501) 224-8300. Online condolences may be forwarded to rdrifesr@hotmail.com.
